Earth Hour 2018
Earth Hour is a worldwide movement organized by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF). Do not forget to take part this year. On March 24th, 2018 at 20:30 your local time, turn off your lights to take part. It is a symbolic gesture intended to show that you care about the environment and the planet. Please turn off your lights for an hour.
It shows that we all can make an impact, no matter how small to save our planet. We can do this by making changes to our lifestyle, thinking about recycling and using sustainable materials. There are lots of areas where each of us can make a difference. We can choose to buy products that do less harm to the Environment. We can use public transportation more. There are a lot of ways to contribute.
Our actions, when combined can help to make an impact on the global scale. But not only that. These days it's easier than ever to try to make a difference. Thanks to the power of the Internet, you can share facts about the World, influence people and raise awareness. If enough people feel the same way, governments will be forced to take action. In doing so, you would go even beyond what every one of us should do as a minimum. You would be making an impact, you would help to change people's minds. You would help to save the world. Let's get to work. You can start by turning off your lights on March 24th, 2018 at 20:30 your local time.
